Baby Kaidynce

Baby Kaidynce was born this morning at 7:04am weighing 7lb 11oz and 20inches long. Here are the texts I got throughout the evening from my Mom:

12:49am Going to hosp sams water brk (apparently her water barked.)

3:11am 4 ctmters

4:26am At 10 getting ready to push (WOW that was fast!!!!)

6:22am Emergency c cection she won't fit (Sam was pushing for 2 hours!)

8:01am Baby is here have not seen her yet but I can hear her

8:05am She is born got here at 704 7 11 oz both are doing goodIt almost looks like Kaidynce is smiling in this one. So sweet! I'm an AUNTIE!!! YAY!!! Poor Kaidynce got stuck in the birth canal and has a cone head last time I saw her. But it's shrinking down to normal fast. She looks a lot like Wade. Mouth and nose is Wade's but she has Sam's "butt chin". Lol! Sam said that, not me. Haha! Kaidynce is beautiful. Her face is kinda puffy and swollen but as it goes down she just gets cuter and cuter! She has the longest little fingers and toes! Oh and did I mention a whole bunch of blond curly hair?! That is like Mommy too. I think I saw kind of a reddish tint to it as well. We'll see after the bruising goes away. Poor little sweetheart. She has the most adorable cry! It's just like a little lady. I can't wait to see her in pink frilly clothes with giant flowers and/or bows in her hair.I love this picture! Kaidynce looks so comfy cozy and my Mom is such a proud Grandma! Precious!

Justin and I have been thinking about getting pregnant again. This just reaffirms that. We want another baby! Jasper may have a brother or sister in the next year. :)

New House!

We've been crossing our fingers ...and toes, knees, hands, feet, eyes and even braided my hair. Hoping to get this amazing house. Well, it worked! We got it! I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them. I'm so extremely excited!! I have to give a ginormous thank you to my bosses. They gave us a loan of $2,200 so no one else could snag our dream house. Otherwise we would have had to wait until we got our tax money back and the house could have been snatched up by then. So, THANK YOU RICK AND RENEE!!!! You're the best employers in the whole world!!!

A few little tidbits about our new house. The owner is currently remodeling it. So the inside looks faboosh! While the siding and yard still could use some loving. In the future when the owner has more money he said he will probably remodel the kitchen and bathrooms. Until then they are a little dated but usable and not a problem. It is a 3 bed 2 bath house. Our master bedroom has 2 closets. Can you believe it?! TWO! Those are mine, Justin can have the dresser. :) Quit giving me those dirty looks. I think I've already established that I'm evil. The master bath only has 1 sink. What the french? But tons of counter space. It also has a toilet and standing shower. The other bathroom, located in the hallway, has 2 sinks a bath/shower combo and toilet. This is where the washer/dryer hookups are along with some upper cabinetry for laundry stuff.

There is a hallway linen closet located in between the other two bedrooms. Our master bed is located at the end of this hallway. So bed 1, linen closet, bed 2, master bed. Main bath is across from linen closet. Confused? I'm excited! Attached to our master room is a, what we are calling, master retreat. They are currently building an enclosed porch area. It will be accessible through a glass door in our room or the steps from the backyard. Can you say awesome?! The yards are mossy with big trees and plenty of places to hide fairies, garden gnomes, gargoyles and birdbaths. With planters here and there. I imagine a fairy living in this.
It has a two car garage that we won't be using as a garage. Half will be Justin's workspace, the other half my craft/workspace. There are two storage rooms, one on each side of the garage in the back. A funky narrow hallway goes down the center and leads to nothing. One is used by the owner. The other room will be storage along with the funky hallway. After a new fridge is purchased the old one will go down here as well for extra fridge space.

The living room is a great size. Huge windows have ocean views. One window is a sliding glass door. There is another sliding glass door in the room next to the kitchen. That room will be our dining area. A built in buffet is next to the huge window in the side living room. Debbie's computer will go next to this so she (and anyone else) can play on it and watch the ocean. I'm going to put a comfy and pretty chair on the opposite side of the computer so I can look at this view. This way I can read, sip coffee/tea, and enjoy our new life. Pretty sweet view out of our front windows huh?

There is a huge deck. Almost completely a wrap around. Justin is already thinking of what kind of barbecue to get.

One of the best parts? We can have pets! That's right folks! Jasper will probably be getting a puppy for Christmas! Or sooner because I'm so freakin' excited to be able to get a pet. But we have to be careful and not take the first puppy we come across. I want one that will fit our family well.

What else...OH! Did I mention this community, Pacific Shores, has it's own private beach park? This is a pic from the advertisement. It's taken from the parking place for the park. The park is for people and the guests of Pacific Shores and Surfland communities only. No others allowed. Awesome huh?! It has a bench, picnic tables, fireplace, trash can, doggy doodoo bags, cement steps to the sand. Larry, the owner, said you can find moonstones on this beach!
It's kind of weird. This home felt like home the minute we stepped inside. But it's not what I thought I'd end up with. It's next to the beach which was never my first choice in a home. I want country. In a strange way, this house feels country. The community feels safe. It's cozy and quiet. I love it.

We have a meeting tomorrow to sign papers and go over the details like finding out when we can MOVE IN! The remodeling is almost complete so very soon.

EEEK! I can't stop squealing I'm so very excited to live in this enchanted place! It seems like our dreams are finally being realized. What a lucky wonderful life we have. :)

1. Pumpkin anything always makes me think of fall. From October to December.
2. Peeps are for Easter along with Cadbury eggs.

3. Coco-cola glass bottles remind me of Christmas.

4. Cake makes me think of birthdays.

5. Marshmallows are for camping. Camping is definitely a holiday.

6 part 1. I think this blogging activity is kinda dumb. Most people will probably have similar answers for everything.

6 part 2. Hot cocoa and tea make me think of storms.

7. Hotdogs and hamburgers are for the summer.Like I said, this post is silly. Every family has different traditions and favorites they do every year for different holidays. Blah to having to list them all.

Movie Night

Bloggy Faves-Day 6
6 Movies you could watch over and over

1. Grandma's Boy - This movie never gets old. Even though I know all the words like a cheerleader knows Bring It On by heart.
2. Stardust - I'd have to say this is my favorite movie of all time. It's sweet, dreamy and everything I need in a fantastical adventure.
3. Sky High - This movie I purchased right before I had my wisdom teeth taken out and I hadn't seen it yet. They give you some loopy drugs when you get those teeth removed. Sky High was on repeat for about a week. :) My family got kinda peeved. I would only be awake for parts of it at a time, then the drugs would knock me out again and when I woke up I wouldn't even remember what I'd seen. Haha! I know the rest of my family is now sick of this movie but it still holds a nice little place in my heart.

4. Just Friends - It's one of those movies that I see something new every time I watch it. It doesn't hurt that Ryan Reynolds is damned sexy as well.
WHEW DAMN! I especially love the one with the axe. Or the one where he's chained. I'm a freak, aren't I? Oh well.

5. Harry Potter Movies - Couldn't pick just one, and really, they are all tied together anyways. Amazing movies and I absolutely LOVE how close they got to the books. Admittedly there are always going to be things left out when you make a book into a movie. You can never NEVER create a movie that fully details a story like a book can. But they sure did do a remarkable job trying.

Last but in no way least
6. The 10th Kingdom - It is such a long movie that you easily see new things no matter how many times you watch it. Fairytales and magic galore, so many references to the stories we all grew up with. It's funny and sweet, not hard to see why I love this movie. On a side note...I used to have a huge crush on Wolf. Okay, maybe I still do. He's just so lovable! I don't like the actor by the way, just the character.

Singing ring is so cute! Watch The 10th Kingdom if you have no idea what I'm talking about. It is a movie I think everyone should see.

I love movies almost as much as books so there are tons more that could have been on this list.
P.S. I've been so link happy these last few days. Wouldn't want you to have to find things yourself. LOL!

Written Words

Bloggy Faves-Day 5
5 Of your favorite books

1. Three Sisters Island trilogy by Nora Roberts- Simply put they are my favorite books EVER. Magic, sex, mystery, suspense, good over evil. Complete and total awesomeness.

2. All Nora Roberts books, she's fan-freakin'-tastic!

3. All Xanth novels by Piers Anthony (and almost everything else he has written) So witty and clever. With just a tiny sprinkle of the romantic chick stuff I like to read. All set in a world of magic.

4. House of Night series by PC Cast and Kristin Cast. They are a little...teen-ish. But oh well. I dig them. :)

5. Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. I am a kid at heart.

6. Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. The books are insanely better than the movies.

7. All Katie Macalister books

8. All Angie Fox books

I realize this is more than 5 but oh well. I'm a reader and I LOVE books.

I've heard people out there that are completely against the new ebooks. I'm a fan of both. There will always be a soft place in my heart for the beauty of a paper book. The smell of the paper; flipping the pages. Scouring second hand stores, libraries and bookstores looking for that perfect book to take home and cuddle up with.

However, the creation of ebooks has made it possible for people to read whenever and wherever. Enabling people limitless possibilities. How can someone be against something that promotes reading. *shakes head* Silly people.

Books are books and reading should be encouraged in any form.

Well Poop

Oh man, oh man. My poor little bloggy blog. Pollywog. Hahaha! I'm sorry but it rhymed and was stuck in my head so now you must read it. Oh the evils I bestow upon you.
I've missed so much by not posting when I should have. If it counts I've thought about posting often. No? Doesn't count, you say? Well damn. I'm going to get back into the swing of things and catch up you invisible readers. (Ha, like people read this obnoxious crap.)

Brief overview: Christmas was awesome and exciting. I imagine it will be even better in the years to come when Jasper understands more. He was spoiled rotten with gifts and I wouldn't have had it any other way. New years I made a few resolutions but the just of them is to be proud of who I am and make wise decisions. My birthday is right around the corner and I'm starting to feel my age. My meds are working miracles and I am no longer a poisonous person. My Grandma scared us with a hospital visit. I worry about how short life is. My sister Samantha is bursting with her swollen belly. I can't wait to meet the newest member of my family. My niece Kaidynce Leeanne Abbas. I may have spelled her middle name wrong. Jasper was introduced to some farm life over New years. It was so precious and made me long for the days when our life will be filled with country smells.
I'm trying to let things go. I hold grudges forever. Or at least, I used to. But in order for me to be proud of myself I need to learn to forgive people and move on. I want friends. I want people I can chat with. Admittedly I'm not fond of chatting very much with other people. They tend to talk back. But occasionally it is nice to talk with someone other than Justin or Jasper. Chick talk, so to speak.I was working on a blogging activity before my hiatus and I'm damn well going to finish it. Eventually. A few other things were started and not finished on here. I plan on wrapping those up as well. Until then, enjoy the photos of my adorable sweet bean.
