There are just some things you do not do to a pregnant lady. For instance, you DO NOT wake a pregnant lady up and then dominate the bathroom so she is unable to use it. No pregnant lady should be forced to hold it after waking up from a (rare) good nights sleep. I'm surprised this isn't a law already. Should this happen again, I will not be held accountable for my actions.
The endless ramblings of my life and the family and friends in it. Be warned, I could write about you next.

New Look
Hope you enjoy the new look as much as I do! I haven't been blogging much lately because of computer problems. I was having so much trouble doing the simplest of posts. It was driving me bonkers. So I switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox. Problems solved. What browser do you use?

Peanut
Dear Peanut,
Much has happened in the past months. I feel you moving more every day, which constantly makes me smile. You are growing beautifully and are a very healthy baby. We were able to see a glimpse of you for the first time on an ultrasound this past week. I'm ecstatic to announce that you are indeed a girl just like Mommy and Daddy thought.

Daddy and I, after much thought and debate, came up with your name. You will be named Avabella Marie-Lee Perkins. Daddy really loves the name Ava. When he suggested it I could do nothing but agree. However, I wanted you to have a longer first name so I suggested adding "bella" to it. Ta-daa! Avabella.
Why did I choose bella? Bell, reminds me of Christmas. My absolute favorite holiday. Ella, reminds me of Cinderella and all things Disney. You will love Disney. It's magical. So see? Bella is rather a perfect addition to the Ava your Daddy has his heart set on.
As part of our "family thing" every baby will have Lee somewhere in their name. Daddy's middle name is Lee and my maiden name was Leech. Lee represents both of us. Now it is for all of us. Marie we just like a lot. I'm not quite convinced on that name yet.
One thing we are positive, we will call you Ava. Avabella when you're in trouble. :)

Underworld
Some spoilers are in this post. Do not read if you would like to remain in the dark. You've been warned.
Underwold Awakening in 3D was pretty awesome. My first 3D movie but not my first 3D experience. Hello? I was a Disneyland kid. 3D was everywhere. I liked it and I'm glad we went but 3D isn't all it's cracked up to be. I don't think it's worth it, the glasses give me a headache and I didn't gain any kind of cool extra experience. 2D would have been just as awesome.
I loved the movie though! I hope they continue the story. Their daughter Eve was badass!
I'd love to see more of her all hybrid-ed out. India Eisley is the actresses name. I don't think I've seen her in anything else but I'm sure she'll be showing up in more. She's a great actress and very pretty.

Party Time!
Totally just kidding. But today is my birthday! Yay! I'm 27 years old now. Geesh. I feel like I'm going to break a hip.
My sister, Steph, made me an awesome cake that I got last night. It's red velvet with cream cheese frosting. YUM. My Mommy gave me a gift card to Amazon which is burning a hole in my pocket. Kindle books here I come!!!! This morning Debbie gave me a pretty tin with four jounals in it. Each one is from a different Twilight movie and has quotes and pics on every page. I need to discover something to write about. Maybe I'll start my own story?
Tonight Justin and I are going to the movies! It'll be our first date in a long time. I think we're going to see the new Underworld movie... in 3D!!! I haven't seen a 3D movie yet so I'm hella excited!
If you can't tell, I've had caffeine this morning! Yay for java inspired randomness!!!!!!!!
These were from the first snow of the year and it's the first time Jasper actually got to play in it. He kept trying to eat the snowflakes. And now I think I'll dance. Seriously. I'm working on a dance for the cheerleaders so I truly mean it when I say that now I'll dance. Bwahaha!
Oh how I love you, caffeine.
Happy birthday ME!!

Sad But Cute
Our little slice of the world has had a quite the storm over the last few days and it looks like it'll continue for at least a few more. Schools are closing, trees are down, power's out and roads are iffy. I truly love Oregon weather. :)
The storm hit late Tuesday and our little man slept right though it. Me and Justin slept like poop, but Jasper? He didn't wake up until 10am. By then the storm was in full swing. Not long after he woke up, one of those huge gusts hit the house. It was more loud than anything else but it did a good job of scaring my poor little babycakes.
This is how the saddest (and cutest) scene played out.
I hear loud wimper/screaming. Jasper runs up to me with a huge sad frown and his eyebrows up in his hair. His arms are raised high above his head and his little feet just can't carry him fast enough to me. Right before he gets in front of me he leaps off the ground and into my arms.
Jasper: Up! Up! Ma, Up!!
(insert leap here)
Mommy: Ohhh Honey. It's okay, baby. The storm won't hurt you. Everything's going to be all right, Sweetheart. (trying not to giggle a little at his cute facial expression)
Jasper: (Eyebrows drawn together. Grim/determined set on his mouth. Finger pointing and shaking at me.) Don't lie me!
End the most adorable little boy scene ever.
I must say I did not handle the situation well. My mouth dropped open and I had a stupid surprised look on my face. And maybe I kinda started laughing. He gave me a mean look and then started hugging me tightly, which I returned, of course.
Did my sweet little boy just lecture me about not lying to him? Yes, I'm positive he did.
Sigh, it makes me realize how big my "little" man really is.

Move it
I felt the baby move the other day. I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow. I was having a particularly crabby day. Nothing seemed to be going right and I was getting pretty upset. It was just one of those days. Then I felt baby peanut do a triple rotating backflip (or something close to that). It was the best pick me up I could have hoped for. I was grinning like a fool the rest of the day and everything was perfect. I love being a Mommy. We should get to find out the sex soon. Yay for ultrasounds!
I can't get enough of this picture. Jasper was trying to walk with Justin's shoes on but he needed some help. Those suckers are heavy. He thought it was great fun when Daddy came to save the day.
