Tinker Moth

As we were heading down to the water Jasper made an exciting discovery. On the side of our home was a moth.

Both kids got overly animated. I didn't quite understand all the hype. Even for my kids, they were excessively awed by this particular bug. Avey much more so than Jasper.

Jasper: Mommy look it's a moff! A moff! Oh my goodness is so adowable. Look sissy, a moff!

Avabella: AAH! Mommy! Wook, wook! Oh tute! Oh dosh! *high pitch girly squeels*

Aves is jumping, pointing and wiggling so much trying to get me to put her down so she can get an up close view. What has gotten in to her?!

Me: Uh huh it's a very cute moth. Come on guys lets go play in the water.

Avabella: Nooo!!!

Me: Ok!! Geez fine let's go see it. Just stop screeching at me, monster.

Naturally Jasper poked it. The "adorable" moth took off flying in the sunshine. It was in the next moment I discovered why my little princess was so VERY excited about an ugly moth when usually she hates bugs and says eew.

Avabella, my little mandrake root, squealed in her highest, girliest voice. Pointing and jumping up and down. Eyes glued to Mr. Moth as it fluttered away. The most excited I think I have ever seen her. Ever.

Avabella: HAHBELL!!!!! Mommy woot, Hahbell!!

Que the awe's. My darling little daughter found a fairy. Tinkerbell.

Thank you, Bella-boo. Thank you so much to both my babies for reminding me that magic is everywhere. You close my eyes again and again so that I can once more see with my heart the treasures all around.

Baby P

Those who know me well already know the sad part of this story. In March 2009 I was pregnant. I didn't stay pregnant. It was and still is the hardest thing I've dealt with.

Every March since then I've done things I wouldn't normally do. Whether I'm looking for some twisted form of comfort or acceptance, who the hell knows. It's how I deal apparently. This year was no different.

I know people say you shouldn't but I blame myself for the loss. I should have gone a little easier. I shouldn't have stressed so much. I should have prepared better. It was my fault and every March I remember. Every March hurts. Every March I do stupid things. I don't know if it's an odd form of grieving or healing or just me being nutso but I do it. Every March.

I saw this thing that's been going around about a mother who turned her sons grave into a sandbox so his brother could play with him. Maybe you've seen it? If you look closely and read the headstone there is a sweet poem written there. I loved it so much. This year I used it to write my own words to our baby that we never got to see.

To my tiny Baby P:

You are my angel, my darling, my star,
And my love will find you,
Wherever you are.

Although you were in our lives for mere moments, we both love you so very much and think about you often. Watch over your younger brother and sister for us, my precious angel.

Love,
Mommy

It's not much but it makes me cry every time. In my head I always add, "I'm sorry I failed you and couldn't keep you safe."

March sucks.

Naughty Princess

That's me, the naughty princess. I've always been a dirty little freak. Those who know me can readily attest to that fact. Now I can safely say more people know. It all started yesterday.

I was having some pain in my left breast. You see, I'm still producing milk. Im just an over-achiever like that ;). For those of you who don't know, having a clogged milk duct hurts like a son-of-a-bitch. And can quickly develop into an infection called mastitis. Including full body aches and pains, a fever, vomiting, general feeling of crappyness and that you are dying. It's truly that miserable. And I had the beginning of that.

What's the cure? You might ask. Massage the breast while baby is nursing. I have a little problem there. My baby stopped nursing over a year ago. My dear husband doesn't roll that way. But massaging does usually work to eliminate the problem.

I wrote a funny little post to my husband saying, "My left boob hurts. Come rub it for me."   Dirty but relatively innocent enough. We are a married couple after all. And with two children. It's no secret that my tits have been played with. Apparently someone was offended enough by my comment to my husband that they flagged it. They reported it to Facebook.

That irked me. It was like a slap in the face. A boob. One left boob. I asked my husband to rub it. Not fondle. Not grope. Not suck, lick, bite, fuck. I asked him to rub it. Admittedly, I did not explain why but I didn't want to. I thought it'd be funny. And kinda naughty. But just barely.

Since I was a little miffed and feeling rather frisky I decided to post a pic of some serious cleavage. Not something I'd normally do but also not something shocking if done by other people. I flashed the camera in a black bra that was not see through. The pic was cropped above the nipples so there was no freaking way it could possibly be visible. I showed less skin than if I was wearing a swimming suit.

They flagged it. Now I'm pissed the fuck off.

The next day I flooded my page with half naked images from various Facebook pages. These images were very risqué. Extremely naughty and dirty and kinky. Not one was flagged. They weren't even shocking.

I posted another picture of myself with a towel covering my body. What you could see was the same skin that would be visible if I wore a tube top. Again, they flagged it.

Why? Am I that offensive? Is me showing both shoulders so much worse than the lady from Sports Illustrated whose nipples were clearly visible? If they were so repulsed by me why not unfollow or unfriend me?  I have to believe if they know how to report an image then they know how to unfriend a person.

To the flagger, whomever you are:  you've succeeded in making me feel cheap and unwanted for a while. Thanks bunches. Lucky for me I'm a strong woman who knows my value. I bounced right back.

I would love for you to let it be known who you are. Don't be a fucking pussy. I won't harass you as you have done to me. I won't try to hurt you as you have tried. I would like to know who you are so that I may cut you out of my life forever. I want to know your face so that I know never to look your way again.

I deserve to have better people than you around me. You are nothing to me. And your opinion of me will never matter.

I will continue to post pics of my breasts because they insist on jumping up into view. I will continue to share images about sex because I love to fuck. I may one day post a pic of me in a swimsuit because I will be proud of my body. Not ashamed.

If I have learned anything from today it's that I'm perfect as the kinky freak I am. So you, Little Bitch, can fucking suck my tits. ;)

365 Selfie Challenge

Welcome back to my creepy, dirty, kinky, naughty, out there blog!  I've missed these blog therapy sessions and guess what? I found the app for that. Haha!

My sister Samantha and I are doing the 365 Selfie Challenge. The rules are pretty simple. Take a selfie every day for a year and post it. The why of it is our juicy story.  Sammy and I are stay-at-home mommies. There have been many more days than we would like to claim where we stayed in our pjs and looked like crap. It doesn't make a woman feel very sexy about herself. This is where the challenge comes in. It's a way for us to hold ourselves accountable. Every day we will get all dolled up and snap a pic. Even if we don't leave the house, the world will see us.

Although we both actually started a few days ago, this will be our first official day.

March 11, 2014 get ready for our close-ups!

I will try to link everything but who knows how it'll work on my phone.

The Countdown

We had all my pre-operation visits today.  I'm very excited and ready to meet Bailee.  I'll give the bad news first:  My blood pressure was 122/80something.  It's still good but 80something is high for me.  The doctors didn't seem worried at all so I won't be.  I have been quite stressed lately so I'm shrugging off a high normal.  I've gained 3lbs since last visit bringing my weight to 255lb for a total pregnancy weight change of minus 13lbs.  That's a great overall loss but I'm still bummed.  I'm attributing the gain to drinking much more water (3-4 more bottles than usual).

The good news:  Bailee and I look great.  We're measuring at 42 weeks.  The doctors and me estimate that she is going to be a big baby.  I was thinking that she'd be right at the same measurements Jasper was (9.3lb, 22 1/4") or maybe a tad smaller because she's coming a week and a day earlier than Jasper and won't have as long to cook.  If I'm honest with myself she feels much larger than Jasper did.  She has her legs up under my boobs, I can feel her moving on both sides of my tummy and twisting her head around low in my hips.  All at the same time.  Yeah, If I'm honest with myself I think she'll be larger than Jasper was.  I'm going to guess 10lb 2oz and 23inches.  If I'm going to guess, might as well go big right?

After our doctor visit we went up to labor and delivery to do more pre-op paperwork.  We had done some downstairs too.  Then the anesthesiologist met us up there and we went through my extensive, horrible background.  Long story short:  He feels confident a spinal will work.  They are giving me drugs at the same time as the spinal to keep my heart rate up.  No waiting until it starts to crash.  It's either epinephrine or ephedrine.  I get those mixed up.  I'm pretty sure the doctors won't ...or at least I'm hoping, lol.  If I feel any pain at all, meaning the spinal isn't working, he will immediately intubate  and put me under general anesthesia.  I am extremely happy with this news.  I feel very confident things will go smoothly this time.  With them knowing my history and prepared for the worst I don't see how it can go wrong.

Next, we went on a mini tour of the labor and delivery wing.  I say mini tour because man is that place tiny!  The nurses seem kind and definitely willing to accommodate.  I hope Justin doesn't give everyone too hard of a time.  He can be slightly overprotective.  Debbie refers to him as a pitbull protecting us.  I must say that is completely and utterly accurate.

Only 5 days until we meet Bailee!

Because there are 5 days left I keep singing the beginning of this song.  I can't help myself.

Pick-Me-Up

If I'm upset or need a pick-me-up my number one go to method is pampering.  Most of which includes good hygiene I should be doing more often anyways.  As most of you know I've been extremely stressed out lately and there seems to be no end in sight.  So tonight after Jasper went to bed I had some "me time".  What a difference it has made on my outlook.  Yes, there is still a million things to do and only a nano second to do them in.  But, I have faith they will get done in time.  It will take hard work and we'll be cutting it close but it will get done.

Tonight's pick-me-up:
#1  I took a nice luke warm shower.  I love luke warm showers.  Crazy, right?
#2  Scrubbed my body with pretty smelling soap.
#3  Washed my hair once and then put in deep conditioner.
#4  Shaved my legs and armpits while the conditioner did it's job.
#5  Rinsed out the conditioner and washed my upper body again because conditioner is a guaranteed way to get pimples everywhere.
#6  Twisted into funny positions so I could spend time scrubbing my feet.
#7  Shower was done so I gather supplies and head out to the living room.
#8  Put on a slinky pajama outfit, lay down a comfy blanket and get to work ...doing absolutely nothing naughty.
#9  Spray Thermasilk leave in conditioner/detangler and comb out hair.  For those interested, apparently Thermasilk is no more.  Now it appears to be Sunsilk?  Don't quote me on that.  I bought my bottle ages ago.
#10  Rub Infusium 23 Moister Replenisher all over my hair but especially at the ends.
#11  Brush it and play with it a little more.  I love my new hair.
#12  Use the foot scraper thingy on my feet until they feel smooth as a peach.
#13  Apply Liz scented lotion on my arms, hands, legs, feet, tummy and a little on my cleavage.
#14  Painted toenails hot pink.
#15  Painted fingernails two coats of a pretty purple.
#16  Apply nighttime moisturizer to my face.
#17  Spoiled myself with a bottle of cream soda.

All the while I was watching the 2012 MTV movie awards with my hottie Honey.  Did anyone else catch the bit with Joe Manganiello in a fireman's outfit?
Holy shit!  He is, hands down, my biggest celebrity crush ever.  That man is fucking hot!
It's been the best night I have had in a long time.

Samantha

My sister, Samantha, said she was proud of me.  :D  That made my day.  I've always been a bigger person.  Still am.  But I've been eating better, doing more and making choices that make me happier.  I've lost 16lb so far this pregnancy.  Who knew that pregnancy was an awesome diet?  I'm sure I've actually lost more than that since the baby and waters and junk floating inside my belly weigh around 35lb.  I'm excited to see how I look after I have our little girl.

When looking in the mirror the other day and then at some pictures this is what went through my head, "Holy crap.  I can see my cheek bones and collar bone.  When the hell did that happen?  Fuck yeah!"

I've been talking to Sam this whole time about how much weight I've lost and what my goals are for after baby.  She's my weight loss buddy.  The other day she told me that she noticed you could see my cheek bones and that she was proud of how well I was doing to reach my goals.  Aww, It still makes me smile.

Bailee

We found your name!  We will call you Bailee.  For certain.  No changies or take-backs.  We're pretty certain about your middle name as well but that'll remain a secret until the big day.

All was well at the appointment today.  My blood pressure was 120(something)/70(something).  I now weigh 252lbs.  Woohoo!  I met with the last doctor in the OB department and I really like him, too.  I'm a huge fan of all the OB doctors at Newport!  Yayyy!!

On June 5th we have our final appointment with Morishita for all of the pre-op paperwork and mumbo jumbo.  Mumbo Jumbo is the technical term.  Daddy and I will take a tour of the hospital at that time.  Right after that appt. is one with the anesthesiologist because Mommies body doesn't handle stuff well.

Babies tend to quit moving so much as you get later in pregnancy because there is such limited space.  You haven't slowed down a bit.  Not even a little.  In fact, I'm certain you've become more active.  It's pretty fun to play "guess that body part" with you.  You like to move them around as soon as I get a good feel.

The doctors keep asking if I think you'll be as big as your brother was.  I'm thinking, yes.  You feel pretty big.  We'll see.

Only 12 days until we get to see your sweet face!

Scared

Even while we were still thinking about getting pregnant I was getting nervous.  As the due date is getting closer, I'm starting to freak out more and more.  I am terrified of having a repeat csection experience.  Terrified!  If it goes badly again, this will probably be our last baby and I really don't want that.  I'm hoping for four kids.  A person can only take so much trauma.  It really messed with me and made many things... uncomfortable to deal with.  I still replay it over and over in my head and recall all the awful little details.  "Women forget the pain of childbirth"  bull-fucking-shit!  I call a B.S. on whoever made that crap up.  I can tell you every terrible part in painful, gory detail while I'm crying my eyes out and lash out at anyone who so much as attempts to touch me how much lying horse crap is in that saying.  Perhaps fools forget.  I will never.

Please for the love of whomever, don't let me feel anything.  Please, oh please, let the drugs work.  Please.  Please let this happen without traumatizing me too badly.

Pretty please?

Bitch Be Crazy

Big problem. Big big problem. I've come to the conclusion my anti-depressants are making me violently ill. Like intense uncontrollable exorcist vomiting and then shaking. That can't be good right? I haven't been taking them every day like I'm supposed to because I haven't felt well (plus I'm forgetful while pregnant). Now I know why. This also explains my terrible "morning sickness". I'm willing to bet it wasn't morning sickness, seeing as it happened about 3-4 hours after I take my antidepressant every day. Hmm, suspicious. I'm going to stop taking them until my Dr. appt in a few days. Hopefully she'll have a good answer for me.

You know how the Hulk says, "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."?

Well, it's kinda like that for me when I've been off my meds. You wouldn't like me without my crazy pills. Hell, I certainly don't like me. Which is part of the problem. In fact, now that I think about it, running around yelling "Tayia SMASH!" holds quite the appeal.

When I don't take them I get this intense body tingly thing that I can not stand and I'm disoriented. Not to mention the fact that I go kinda bitch postal for the tiniest reasons and then enjoy harming myself. Ya, not good in the slightest. In case you were wondering though, I haven't done that in a very long time. Oh I've wanted to. But I haven't. I made Justin a promise and I'll keep my word to him no matter what.

Oh man, this isn't going to end well. Poor Justin. He's the one that's gonna have to put up with my cray-cray ass. I hope the doctor has an amazing solution I have simply overlooked in my freak-out.

A Pet Named Peeve

People who know me well and even those who don't, know that I get annoyed pretty easily. Here are my top irkers. I was inspired tonight when some of them had me doing the wrinkle-nose-and-squint-eyes face.

1. When the toilet paper faces in instead of out.

source - funny post that is spot on.

2. When there is a kink in the toilet paper roll and it makes a "thud thud thud" as you unroll it.
3. If the trash is full, do not keep piling crap on. What do you think is going to happen? A magic garbage fairy does not come by, remove the trash spilling over and put it in another bag. That's ME God damn it and I hate it! Be an adult and do it your damn self!
4. Even more teeth grinding... If the trash bag has been closed up some, DO NOT put garbage on the outside of the bag.

Nothing pisses me off more than if I have to touch someone else's garbage.

5. Chewing your food loud enough I can hear you. I don't care if it's crunchy, your nosed is stuffed up, the food is too hot, whatever. No excuses.
6. Leaving the sink nasty. This includes but is not limited to: hair, facial hair, toothpaste, spit, toilet paper, pools of water, band-aides, anything else you decide to put in or around the sink so others can see it.
7. Believe it or not the dinner table is not a place for crap. It's for food and family dinners. Not a storage for all the extra garbage or recycling that you're too lazy to take out. Or for that matter is it a place to put shit because you don't want to take the time to put it in it's proper place.

A place for everything and everything in its place. I love this saying. It means nothing in this house. I suppose that's it for now. My home has been a rant inducing mess lately.

I refuse to admit I could be a contributing factor.

Party Time!

Totally just kidding. But today is my birthday! Yay! I'm 27 years old now. Geesh. I feel like I'm going to break a hip.
My sister, Steph, made me an awesome cake that I got last night. It's red velvet with cream cheese frosting. YUM. My Mommy gave me a gift card to Amazon which is burning a hole in my pocket. Kindle books here I come!!!! This morning Debbie gave me a pretty tin with four jounals in it. Each one is from a different Twilight movie and has quotes and pics on every page. I need to discover something to write about. Maybe I'll start my own story?
Tonight Justin and I are going to the movies! It'll be our first date in a long time. I think we're going to see the new Underworld movie... in 3D!!! I haven't seen a 3D movie yet so I'm hella excited!
If you can't tell, I've had caffeine this morning! Yay for java inspired randomness!!!!!!!!
These were from the first snow of the year and it's the first time Jasper actually got to play in it. He kept trying to eat the snowflakes. And now I think I'll dance. Seriously. I'm working on a dance for the cheerleaders so I truly mean it when I say that now I'll dance. Bwahaha!
Oh how I love you, caffeine.
Happy birthday ME!!

EEW!

A few of my most hated things.

1) Flies of all sorts - Landing on things and spreading their poop loving filth. Fruit flies really gross me out cause they swarm in hoards.

2) Fleas - Disgusting, unsanitary, germ spreading, icky villians of doom.

3) Mosquitoes - They terrify me. If a fly and a flea got it on and had a baby it would be a mosquito. It's the worst creature in the universe.

4) Ticks - Sneaky little bastards of burrowing disease.

That about sums up my list of foulness. Of course there are others that thoroughly give me the heeby-jeebies but these sickos top my list. What are you most grossed out or scared by?

Note: While looking for images for this post I actually had to stop a few times because I was so grossed out. With my weak pregnancy stomach I got thisclose to vomiting. Eew!

Hair

Last night I went wild and crazy and I dyed my hair. It's pretty much black now. I like the change and Justin loves it. People say that once you dye it black it's really hard to change the color. My Mom said it to me this morning but I knew it would be coming from many others. My response? That's kinda the point of permanent hair dye.

*Please excuse the lack of makeup in the following photos. It was very late and I didn't feel like getting dolled up for blog pictures alone. Sorry folks, you'll have to deal with makeup-less me.

Before:And this is after:

So what do you think? I'm not sure if you can notice through the photos but I even dyed my eyebrows.

Theme Song

The playlist of my life. You may have noticed that I've added music to my page. These songs are not at all my current favorites. They are songs that describe my life. Songs that mean something to me.

I used to watch Ally MacBeal when it was on and the episode titled Theme of Life talked about having a personal theme song that would play in your head. Ever since then I've had my own theme songs. They've changed over the years as I have.

1. Sir Mixalot - Baby Got Back: All through middle school I rocked this theme song. I have a large booty. This made me feel better about it.
2. Rob Zombie - Living Dead Girl: One summer we listened to this cd over and over. It was awesome!
3. Pink - 18 Wheeler: Pretty much all through high school I used this song. I was angry and sad a lot. It was a good pick me up.
4. Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway: As fun as things were I didn't belong where I was. I was trying to find my niche.
5. Blue County - Good Little Girls: After I met Justin. Let's just say I've been having fun ever since.
6. Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl: Pretty self explanatory.
7. Justin Timberlake ft. TI - My Love: When we first started dating Justin sang me this song every time it came on the radio. It was silly sweet and takes me back every time I hear it.
8. All American Rejects - Gives You Hell: Right before I started taking my crazy pills. I was so pissed off at many people. I would belt out this awesome number and sing it with conviction! Plus, the music video is hilarious.
9. Nickleback - Figured You Out: Justin and I agree this should have been our wedding song.
10. Ingrid Michaelson - The way I am: I love Justin.
11. Demi Lovato - This Is Me: This is my present theme song. It makes me happy and reminds me to not only be myself but love it!

I'll probably be changing the music playing on my blog from time to time. Just because it gets annoying to hear the same thing over and over. Not that that would be a problem for my millions of followers... riiiiiiight... but I view this blog a lot so for my sanity it'll change every now and then.

Me Again

I like talking about myself. Hence the freakin' blog people. Things have a way of changing on you. It is because of these changes that I am telling you about me yet again. Most of the info is still the same. Same name, same wonderful husband. Of course we have Jasper now. Can you believe he'll be a year old in less than a month?! Note to self: plan birthday party. We got a puppy a few weeks ago. He is a great pyrenees and we've named him Appa. He's the cutest, sweetest, most mellow fluff ball you will ever meet. We are on the coast now with the beach as our front yard. It's amazing! I never thought I'd love living on the coast but I think I may be willing to trade it for the country. Whoa huh?! That's big stuff. We moved into our new home with my Mother-In-Law, Debbie. This way we all get a cool dreamy house and it's affordable. Complete awesomeness.

I am ridiculously happy. My crazy pills are working like a dream. We have an awesome house that is slowly turning into our home. We still have a bunch of unpacking to do. *sneer* I dislike that part.

Jasper is walking now! He talks quite a bit too. Justin and I are doing fantabulous of course! We're soul mates after all.

Okay, enough about other people. Let's talk about me in my "About Me" update. I'm spoiled by my husband and I like it. I spoil him too. I love walking on the beach and finding sea treasures. I've started to pick up the garbage that is littering our section of paradise. You can read about in Operation Fishy. Teaching Jasper to do our part to help keep the world sparkly.

I have bazillions of craft ideas bubbling inside me. I can't wait for my area in the garage to be cleared up so I can tackle them. I'm looking into a way to make a profit from home. Not an easy task and I'm sure it'll be years before I actually accomplish this. Plus, my job rocks so why quit it?

Let's see...I love our little boy so much I bust out smiling at just the thought of him. We have a new fishtank and getting things for it makes me excited. I'm a kinky person. I love to go to the movies. I can stare into tide pools for hours. Shaving my legs makes me feel pretty. I have a list of tattoos in mind. I'm already saving for Jasper's 5th birthday. We are going to Disneyland. It will be a bonus if my family can join us. Mountain Dew is my drink of choice. When I'm nervous I hum an annoying tune of three notes over and over. I'm addicted to ebay. I like to shop victoriously.

I love Disney! Nickelodian is getting some kick butt shows too now. My faves are Wizards of Waverly Place, iCarly, Victorious, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents, Mighty B, I'm sure I'm missing some but you get the just of it. I like cartoons. Correction: I LOVE cartoons. Jasper is going to grow up with them just like I did. Good thing Justin is a movie buff too. :)
I'm excited for the future and all the fun things we'll get to show Jasper! Possibilities make me goofy happy!!!!

Be Mine?

Me and Justin have been together for... wow how bad does that make me look? I'm not really sure. It feels like we've been together forever and there wasn't a time when I didn't know him. At the same time, it seems like I just met him yesterday and found out about the elusive "love". Funny how eternity and and yesterday can intertwine huh?

Update: Justin informed me that we have been together for 3 years, 10 months and 6 days. I feel like I should have known at least part of that. I suck at remembering our anniversary. Sorry Nuggs.

I have the best husband in the world. I've said that before and I'll keep saying it. He has done so much for me and for our family. Justin was there when our world was falling apart and held us together by being strong. He's been my shoulder to cry on more times than I can count. He can make me laugh no matter what mood I'm in. He's my soulmate and my best friend.

In honor of Valentines Day, we are going to go through my top 10 favorite couples out there. Me and Justin not included. Let the smooches begin!!

1. Tristan and Yvaine - From the movie Stardust. They make me sigh and feel warm and fuzzy.

2. Beauty and the Beast - Locked up in the castle with the beast (who is actually a nice guy). I sense a little bit of dom and sub. Me likey.

3. Tarzan and Jane - I LOVE this couple. They are sweet to each other. Take risks for each other. Protective. Plus, Tarzan is hot. Bwahahahaha!

4. Corey and Topanga - Who didn't love this cavity inducing couple growing up?

5. Wolf and Virginia - From the movie The 10th Kingdom.

6. Gabriel Tauhou and May Northcott - From the books of The Silver Dragons series by Katie MacAlister.

7. Danny and Sandy - From the movie Grease.

8. Miss Piggy and Kermit- When I was younger I used to be in love with Kermit The Frog. I also thought that I looked identical (IDENTICAL I TELL YOU) to Miss Piggy. We had the same nose, both bigger girls, both ...aggressive. I was convinced I was the person version of Miss Piggy and Kermit was my future boyfriend.

9. Shrek and Princess Fiona - Shrek and Justin have many similarities. I call him Shrek and he calls me His Fiona.

10. Most of my romance book couples - I can't choose the last couple. There are so many wonderful matches I've read that it is impossible to choose. I leave it open ended.

I love the stories with a strong dominant male, perhaps slightly aggressive, and a quick-witted, gorgeous female who can kick ass. Throw in some paranormal, a little danger where the chick needs saving, a surprising tidbit when she proves she can kick ass and it never fails. I'm hooked. Is it any wonder why I devour books? I'm going to go read. Or should I make my own steamy bedroom scene? Humph... No contest. ;)

Happy Birthday To Me!!

Yaaayyy! I'm old. Well, that was a short lived celebration. This post is all about me. Me, me, me, I, I, I. These are some of my favorite pics of me. Feel free to skip this post.

Tackle football in the dark...no bueno.
This was sometime after the incident. The ouchie is still healing in this pic.
So me and this other girl were both running from different directions for the guy with the ball. He moved, we didn't see each other till too late and BAM! I dislocated her jaw with my forehead. That's just how shittin' cool I am.
I ended up with a concussion and a broken nose. Suh-wheet!
MACARONI!! I miss you. I imagine you are living well because it makes me not as sad.
:( Poor loving baby. She's an awesome dog.
My handsome fatty! This is Hemi as a wittle-bitty puppy.
Hesston my snake! This was when I first got him.
We gave him to friends though. We weren't giving him enough lovin'.
Sitting on a rock in the Alabama Hills. I miss those rocks. They were ridiculously fun to climb!
That was fun. I feel selfish for posting so many pics of JUST ME!

Remember The Smiles

Bloggy Faves-Day 9
9 Memories that make you smile

1. Our wedding day- From the moment I woke up until we finally went to sleep. That day was amazing start to finish.

2. When Justin let it slip that he loved me. I was in the car with Micah and we were headed to her house for her birthday. Justin had called, just because. When we were saying goodbye he said, "I lo... um... okbye." *click* I had the biggest smile on my face!

3. Justin and I were walking on the beach and I was telling him some people who were irking me. He asked if I wanted him to talk to them for me. :) I love my protective man. We had just started dating.

4. Jasper's first laugh. It was music and his giggles still send me into a cuteness frenzy.

5. When I got to hold Jasper for the first time. He was fussing and I sang him his lullaby that I had written for him. He stopped fussing and just stared at me. Then went to sleep. I love that memory.

6. Micah's 22nd birthday party. We all got drunk and played cheerleader. It was great. Stupid, but great.

7. All the trips out to the desert Jessie and I made. Especially the one where we saved Utah the bovine. We put her in the truck with the sleeping puppies. It was all hunky-dory but when we came back over the hill it was hilarious. Worrisome at first, but hilarious. The calf was on one side of the truck and the puppies on the other. Everyone freaking out. Most of California memories are great. I loved ranch life. Even changing pipe.

Cute calves and momma cow! How can you not love this place?! Gorgeous! I heart the desert.
8. When I think about how great my family is. My sisters are always there if I need them. They've been my best friends growing up. My Mom and Dad who will do almost anything for us. My very loving Mom, Debbie. The new family I married into. Every one of them has been so welcoming. Loves all around!

9. Grad night. Me and Ashly went shopping at Fred Meyer beforehand and I picked out a whole new outfit. Sexy thong, black pants and a shirt. I couldn't wear a bra with the shirt. ...or maybe I could have, but didn't want to. I didn't button it up all the way either. Cleavage galore. Didn't realize at the time the shirt was COMPLETELY see through. Hope everyone enjoys those pics. Haha!

One of the few pictures from that evening where you can't see...details.
I had the hugest crush on him.
Lol! Ahh High School.

New House!

We've been crossing our fingers ...and toes, knees, hands, feet, eyes and even braided my hair. Hoping to get this amazing house. Well, it worked! We got it! I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them. I'm so extremely excited!! I have to give a ginormous thank you to my bosses. They gave us a loan of $2,200 so no one else could snag our dream house. Otherwise we would have had to wait until we got our tax money back and the house could have been snatched up by then. So, THANK YOU RICK AND RENEE!!!! You're the best employers in the whole world!!!

A few little tidbits about our new house. The owner is currently remodeling it. So the inside looks faboosh! While the siding and yard still could use some loving. In the future when the owner has more money he said he will probably remodel the kitchen and bathrooms. Until then they are a little dated but usable and not a problem. It is a 3 bed 2 bath house. Our master bedroom has 2 closets. Can you believe it?! TWO! Those are mine, Justin can have the dresser. :) Quit giving me those dirty looks. I think I've already established that I'm evil. The master bath only has 1 sink. What the french? But tons of counter space. It also has a toilet and standing shower. The other bathroom, located in the hallway, has 2 sinks a bath/shower combo and toilet. This is where the washer/dryer hookups are along with some upper cabinetry for laundry stuff.

There is a hallway linen closet located in between the other two bedrooms. Our master bed is located at the end of this hallway. So bed 1, linen closet, bed 2, master bed. Main bath is across from linen closet. Confused? I'm excited! Attached to our master room is a, what we are calling, master retreat. They are currently building an enclosed porch area. It will be accessible through a glass door in our room or the steps from the backyard. Can you say awesome?! The yards are mossy with big trees and plenty of places to hide fairies, garden gnomes, gargoyles and birdbaths. With planters here and there. I imagine a fairy living in this.
It has a two car garage that we won't be using as a garage. Half will be Justin's workspace, the other half my craft/workspace. There are two storage rooms, one on each side of the garage in the back. A funky narrow hallway goes down the center and leads to nothing. One is used by the owner. The other room will be storage along with the funky hallway. After a new fridge is purchased the old one will go down here as well for extra fridge space.

The living room is a great size. Huge windows have ocean views. One window is a sliding glass door. There is another sliding glass door in the room next to the kitchen. That room will be our dining area. A built in buffet is next to the huge window in the side living room. Debbie's computer will go next to this so she (and anyone else) can play on it and watch the ocean. I'm going to put a comfy and pretty chair on the opposite side of the computer so I can look at this view. This way I can read, sip coffee/tea, and enjoy our new life. Pretty sweet view out of our front windows huh?

There is a huge deck. Almost completely a wrap around. Justin is already thinking of what kind of barbecue to get.

One of the best parts? We can have pets! That's right folks! Jasper will probably be getting a puppy for Christmas! Or sooner because I'm so freakin' excited to be able to get a pet. But we have to be careful and not take the first puppy we come across. I want one that will fit our family well.

What else...OH! Did I mention this community, Pacific Shores, has it's own private beach park? This is a pic from the advertisement. It's taken from the parking place for the park. The park is for people and the guests of Pacific Shores and Surfland communities only. No others allowed. Awesome huh?! It has a bench, picnic tables, fireplace, trash can, doggy doodoo bags, cement steps to the sand. Larry, the owner, said you can find moonstones on this beach!
It's kind of weird. This home felt like home the minute we stepped inside. But it's not what I thought I'd end up with. It's next to the beach which was never my first choice in a home. I want country. In a strange way, this house feels country. The community feels safe. It's cozy and quiet. I love it.

We have a meeting tomorrow to sign papers and go over the details like finding out when we can MOVE IN! The remodeling is almost complete so very soon.

EEEK! I can't stop squealing I'm so very excited to live in this enchanted place! It seems like our dreams are finally being realized. What a lucky wonderful life we have. :)
