Appa

We got a puppy over the weekend! He's a pure bred AKC registered Great Pyrenees. His full name is Guardian Appa Thomas Prime de Shanook. We call him Appa. For those of you Mad Gab people, Appa Thomas Prime is Optimus Prime because Justin really likes Transformers. I wanted to call him Appa like the flying bison in Avatar: The Last Airbender. We had to add de Shanook because it's part of the contract the breeder wanted. Lastly, Guardian is because he is a huge guard dog. Or at least he will be when he grows up.

Him and Jasper are already best friends. Partners in crime is a better term for it. The two of them are certainly a handful. A messy, loud, obnoxious handful. But I love them!

He was weighed at his 8 week vet visit last Wednesday and he weighed a whopping 21lb! He's almost the size of Jasper! LOL!

Appa has the best personality and he's very smart. Currently we are working on leash training him, come and sit. He's already pretty house broken but sometimes he gives us a very short notice and he ends up going in the house.

If I can just keep him and Jasper out of the bathroom we'd be all set.
